Join the team that is responsible for Risk Management across the Macquarie Asset Management Equities and Multi-asset, Fixed Income and Leveraged Credit divisions. In this role you will assist with the design and operating effectiveness of the control environment, including documentation of policies and procedures.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract focused on risk management.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with risk, compliance, investment personnel and other operational groups for the public markets business in Macquarie Asset Management, covering Equities and Multi-asset, Fixed Income and Leveraged Credit. You will be involved with policy writing, evaluation of documentation including desktop procedures, as well as assessing the control environment through an assurance program.

What you offer

  • At least seven years’ experience developing and / or executing non-financial risk management frameworks, benchmarking to market standards.
  • A strong understanding of business control environments and technology, including assessment of control design and operating model reviews.
  • Experience in US Investment Management industry, including regulated 40 Act funds and other vehicles subject to Federal securities rules and regulations
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, including developing procedure and controls documentation.
  • Senior stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to initiate and lead conversations with senior leaders.
