What role will you play?

In this role, you will support data and reporting initiatives that deliver trusted insights and drive business outcomes across Macquarie. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and data producers, you will translate requirements into data-driven solutions across the data lifecycle, including governance, quality, analytics and reporting. You will also gain exposure to enterprise data platforms, AI-enabled capabilities and strategic data initiatives while contributing to solution design, testing and implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, technology, engineering, or other related field; MBA (Finance), CA, CFA qualification is also advantageous.
• 2-4 years' experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Management, Reporting, Financial Technology, or a related role within Financial Services, with a proactive mindset, curiosity and commitment to continuous learning. 
• Working knowledge of finance and data management concepts, financial reporting, enterprise data management, data sourcing, transformation, governance, reporting and analytics. 
• Experience eliciting business requirements, documenting processes and supporting solution delivery, complemented by strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management and communication skills. 
• Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing, validating and reconciling datasets; experience with Power BI (or similar visualization tools) and exposure to Python or other analytical tools is advantageous. 
• Familiarity with modern data and collaboration tools, including Generative AI and Microsoft Copilot, with experience using AI to enhance analysis, documentation and reporting; knowledge of Collibra, Jira or Confluence, and a relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., MBA, CA, CFA, FRM) is desirable.
