As part of a global team, our primary focus is conducting Enhanced Due Diligence and managing adverse media and other screening escalations. You will be working with the Financial Crime Risk team and supporting an intelligence-led approach to managing Financial Crime Risk.

What role will you play?

As an Analyst or Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Macquarie’s assessment of Financial Crime Risk by delivering comprehensive, succinct and risk‑focused Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, name‑screening assessments and clear recommendations relating to our customers. You will conduct risk assessments on escalations involving sanctions concerns and PEP alerts, ensuring issues are analysed and resolved in a timely and accurate manner. You will be working closely with regional Financial Crime Risk Advisory teams to discuss and manage identified higher‑risk customers and transactions, providing well‑considered insights and guidance. 

What you offer

• 2+ years experience with customer onboarding KYC
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills and self-motivated, detailed oriented and well-organised
• Ability to prioritise workflows and ensure deadlines are met with a high level of integrity and confidentiality
• Experience in conducting open-source investigations/research in a financial crime context is valuable
• Some knowledge of financial crime risk and mitigation processes highly regarded.
