What role will you play?

In this role you will design, build and deliver data-driven solutions that improve audit processes and efficiency. You will work closely with senior team members, share insights that drive positive change, and help develop our community of data champions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with global teams and learn from experienced colleagues as you help shape the future of audit innovation.

What you offer

  • Proven experience in data analytics or data science, including generative artificial intelligence, scripting languages such as SQL and Python, data visualisation with Power BI, and data analysis tools like Alteryx.
  • A background in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Maths, Audit, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field.
  • 3 years+ of experience in data analytics or a similar area.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and engaging way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for learning, trying new approaches, and working both independently and as part of a wider team.

The Internal Audit Division provides independent and objective risk-based assurance on the effectiveness of Macquarie’s risk management framework. Our global team conducts risk-based reviews focused on the effective operation of controls and governance processes, identifying insights through innovation and critical thinking. Our collaboration across all Groups is crucial to highlight potential risks and ensures compliance with regulatory standards in maintaining Macquarie’s integrity and success.
