Join our Internal Audit team in Sydney, supporting our Commodities and Global Markets business. You will work with recognised experts in our internal audit division and across the organisation to guide and assess internal controls and risk frameworks.

What role will you play?

As an Internal Audit Senior Analyst, you will contribute to the assessments of the quality and effectiveness of Macquarie’s internal control framework, risk management and governance systems. You will develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Commodities and Global Markets businesses, associated products, and control functions, and work with your team to define audit scopes and execute testing. You will participate in a range of audits and proactively monitor key strategic initiatives and regulatory requirements impacting this area.

  • Prior experience in a comparable audit or risk management role
  • Experience working in financial services
  • Data analytics and AI prompting experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.

Our global team conducts risk-based reviews focused on the effective operation of controls and governance processes, identifying insights through innovation and critical thinking.
