Join our global Risk Management Group Non-Financial Risk Operations team based in Sydney and play a pivotal role in execution of business management processes for Non-Financial Risk and the Divisional Leadership teams.

What role will you play?

As a Business Manager, you will be heavily involved in the operational performance of the Non-Financial Risk division, including driving transformation activities to create efficiencies in how the teams work. This will include budgeting and forecasting activities, headcount and recruitment tracking and people engagement initiatives. You will also play a key role in overseeing divisional operational activities, such as completion of user access reviews, business resilience planning and other critical operational activities that enable effective running of the division, including divisional governance and intranet management.

• Prior experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills
• Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
• Proven stakeholder management skills with experience in delivering key messages succinctly and effectively to senior leaders
• Change planning and implementation experience is highly regarded
• Ability to multi-task whilst remaining agile in a fast paced environment.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
