Join our Global Credit Assurance team based in Sydney and play a key role in the Risk Management Group Line 2 assurance of risks and frameworks.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of credit assurance review programs, covering the financial risk frameworks which involves, sample testing credit delegation holder approvals to identify, capture, and drive mitigation of key financial risks.

You will identify and escalate any vulnerabilities in the supporting risk architecture of policies, procedures, systems and the control environment which may produce deviation from risk appetite. You will also utilise credit risk data to identify risks and trends to improve business risk management and provide insights and advice to the business on best practice for design, measurement, analysis, evaluation and reporting of credit risk.

  • Prior experience in a credit risk discipline, such as credit decisioning, assurance or risk advisory, ideally with experience in retail, commercial or wholesale credit
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced negotiation skills and experience working with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Ability to think laterally and work with abstract concepts and complex situations.
