The Broker Governance team engages a variety of stakeholders within Banking and Financial Services to ensure effective governance and compliance across the Broker network. Our team works closely with various teams in the ecosystem, senior stakeholders and our distribution partners to embed strong risk management practices.

What role will you play?

As a senior analyst in the Broker Governance team, your key responsibilities will include monitoring and investigating distribution partners (including brokers and aggregators) by analysing data, conducting periodic assurance reviews and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards. Any findings observed by you will need to be summarised in regular operational and management reports to communicate activities and key results.

You will also support the management and review of existing policies, frameworks and procedures. This may require you to proactively think outside the box and initiate deep dive reviews to identify potential improvement opportunities.

  • Strong risk and compliance mindset and a basic understanding of key regulatory and legislative requirements in the financial services industry
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business terms
  • Strong problem solving skills to create innovative solutions and recommendations to meet business needs
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage deadlines independently and a keen interest in operating with agile ways of working.
