Join Macquarie's Business Bank as a Senior Business Development Manager and take a pivotal role in our specialised Property Services team. With a focus on these industries along with direct property-backed lending you will drive growth by originating new lending and deposit relationships with key players in the built environment sector. You will focus on industries aligned with property, including residential real estate agencies, and infrastructure services such as engineers, architects, and other associated professionals. With a focus on direct, property-backed lending, you will manage transactions up to $50 million, providing tailored financial solutions that build lasting value.

What role will you play?

You will utilise your expertise in commercial lending to prospect and qualify potential clients while building lasting and strategic relationships. In this sales-focused role you will nurture prospective clients, understand their unique business needs, and tailor financial solutions to generate growth. Joining an exceptionally high performing and accountable team your key deliverables will include achieving monthly sales targets, conversions, quality, compliance, and KYC.

  • Experience in a sales environment, within financial services with strong commercial credit and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, goal orientated and proactive in your approach
  • Strong communication skills and a learning mindset
  • Pipeline, relationship and stakeholder management skills with a track record in delivering results
  • A desire for maintaining and strengthening existing relationships as well as developing new business
  • Knowledge of property backed lending is valuable.
