What role will you play?

In this role, you will build and maintain data services and data pipelines using industry best practices. You will identify customer impacts when making technical decisions, and regularly conduct respectful and meaningful code reviews that ensure code maintainability. In addition, you will participate in incident management, team roster activities and full ownership on issues raised.

What you offer

  • 4-8 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Big data and Hadoop experience, with a focus on Spark, Hive, Presto (or other query engines), big data storage formats (such as Parquet, ORC, Avro), Bamboo/Ansible (or other CICD tools) is advantageous.
  • Experience in a cloud-based environment (ideally AWS or GCP) and work on ETL and ELT projects with demonstrative skill in programming languages like Python & Java.
  • Excellent skills in Java, Scala SQL, and shell scripting.
  • A broad knowledge on technical solutions, design patterns, and code for complex applications deployed in a distributed computing environment.
