Join our Cyber Engineering team and lead a high-performing identity engineering team responsible for building, enhancing, and operating privileged identity and access platforms. Our team partners closely with global stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions that protect critical systems and data across Macquarie.

As a Senior Lead Engineer - Identity, you will play a pivotal role in shaping technical strategy, uplifting engineering standards, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the platform.

You will lead and mentor engineers delivering privileged identity and access solutions, ensuring high-quality engineering outcomes aligned to strategic cyber engineering objectives. You will be accountable for technical delivery, people leadership, and alignment with global cyber and engineering practices.

What you offer

  • 12+ years of overall IT experience, with 2+ years in an engineering leadership role managing teams in an offshore or global delivery model
  • Strong hands-on experience in application development
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting CyberArk PAM solutions
  • Solid understanding of cyber security principles, privileged access controls, and identity security
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and automation
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage
  • Strong people management, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership and delivery oversight
  • Experience driving engineering excellence, coding standards, and continuous improvement within teams.
