What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager, you will lead a small advisory team whose scope spans across multiple parts of the Banking and Financial Services ecosystem. In this key stakeholder-facing role, reporting to the Head of Banking Risk Advisory, you will be responsible for advising and guiding stakeholders to deliver best-in-class risk management advice and outcomes.

  • Proven ability to navigate complexity and provide trusted risk advice to a wide variety of senior stakeholders, both within and outside of BFS.
  • Extensive expertise in Line 1 operational risk management, with a particular focus on tailoring risk management practices to suit a dynamic operating environment by thoroughly identifying & quantifying risks and designing controls to effectively & efficiently manage the risk profile.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, with a keen eye for detail and a track record of identifying & delivering process enhancements and projects.
  • Experience as a people leader, with a proven ability to identify talent, foster a strong and collaborative team culture and motivate your team to achieve excellence.
  • Clear, concise communication skills with the confidence to adapt your style to suit different audiences and purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance commercial decisions with robust risk management outcomes, finding ways to innovate within established frameworks and a highly regulated environment.
