Our finance aligned team in Banking and Financial Services manage financial control responsibilities for the division, while spotting strategic opportunities to uplift the finance function as a whole and creating operational efficiencies.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with the Finance leadership team, including the Banking and Financial Services CFO and Head of Finance to lead projects and transform the way the Financial Management team operates. You will work proactively with the team to ensure our projects are operating under the governance framework and confirm the continuous improvement and standardisation across the finance project portfolios. Leading a small team, you’ll draw upon your expertise to deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce highly actionable, authoritative insights. 

What you offer

  • A track record of strategic problem-solving and analytical thinking within a finance function with the ability to influence outcomes through strong senior stakeholder management skills
  • Experience designing and implementing new initiatives that support continuous improvement across finance and proven ability to lead end-to-end financial transformation initiatives
  • Proficiency in financial software and how source systems interact with the General Ledger
  • Experience as a people leader with strong strategic thinking, influencing skills and an ability to make pragmatic decisions
  • Strong understanding of the internal control environments.
