The Treasury Financial Control team sits within the broader Finance division, working closely with Group Treasury, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Risk Management. What role will you play?

In this role you will lead and oversee financial control activities across net investment hedging processes, with a primary focus on accounting, reconciliations and reporting outcomes. You will support how we economically hedge exposures, oversee core hedge accounting workflows, and ensure transactions are reflected accurately in financial statements. You will also contribute technical accounting guidance (related to investment hedges), support policy and compliance requirements, and provide transaction-based support to tax reporting, treasury and legal entity controllers. You will drive improvements to hedge accounting processes and systems to facilitate optimal risk and reporting outcomes.

What you offer

  • CA Qualified with 8+ years of experience ideally in audit, financial control or financial reporting within a Big Four Accountancy Firm
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in supporting delivery of initiatives which benefit our Group
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and focus on the key risks and issues and the ability to communicates complex concepts clearly and adapts messaging to diverse audiences
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, transactions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in the application of IFRS to complex situations and structures in an advisory, commercial or financial reporting capacity is valuable
