Our Consumer Marketing team plays a crucial role in Macquarie’s retail banking business, driving growth for our market-leading products by developing deep customer understanding and compelling go-to-market strategies. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for driving growth across our market-leading and rapidly scaling deposits and home loan portfolios.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate across the Marketing ecosystem to develop and execute strategies that drive consideration and acquisition for our deposits and home loans products. You will build deep customer understanding through research and data analysis to inform marketing strategy, create compelling go‑to‑market approaches by defining strong customer value propositions and resonant storytelling, and lead the end‑to‑end delivery of integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns. Central to the role is rigorously measuring channel and campaign performance, translating insights into actionable recommendations, and identifying opportunities to optimise the customer journey and improve conversion across the acquisition funnel.

What you offer

  • 7+ years of experience in a strategic marketing role, such as consumer marketing, product marketing, or growth marketing, ideally within financial services.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive commercial results.
  • Deep experience in end-to-end campaign management, from strategy and briefing through to execution and reporting.
  • Expertise in leveraging customer research and data to develop actionable insights and inform marketing strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data to measure performance, identify trends, and drive decision-making. Experience with tools like Google Analytics is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer journey mapping and implementing conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • A high degree of accountability and a passion for delivering outstanding customer, brand, and commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability.
