The central projects and change team are responsible for partnering with our risk management stakeholders to deliver transformation, uplift and change to systems and processes that underpin the successful operations of the risk management group.

What role will you play?

In this hands-on role within the Operational Risk division, you will leverage your extensive project management experience and lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects. These projects are crucial for the division and will be executed in alignment with the Risk Management Group’s Project and Change Delivery Framework. Additionally, you will support the Non-Financial Risk Platforms team and efficiently guide them in managing their backlog of system features, enhancements and the process from the initial idea stage through to implementation.

What you offer

  • 10+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager within the Financial services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge including experience of managing systems implementations and releases.
  • Experience in the Operational Risk domain and good working knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance systems.
  • Demonstrable experience using agile tools and techniques e.g. managing flow of work using JIRA and facilitating agile ceremonies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a straightforward manner.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work efficiently with diverse stakeholders.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
