Join Macquarie’s São Paulo Commodities Desk as a Senior Structured Finance Marketer/Originator, where you will play a strategic role in expanding our Metals & Mining financing and structured credit portfolio across Brazil and Latin America. What role will you play?

In this senior position, you will drive the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing transactions, including structured credit facilities, reserve-based and inventory financings, receivables-backed structures, prepayment transactions, securitizations, and working capital solutions. You will work closely with trading, sales, legal, and senior leadership teams to identify opportunities and execute transactions end-to-end.

Candidates should bring a strong technical background in structured finance, commodity finance, lending, or investments, with demonstrated expertise in client origination, financial analysis, transaction structuring, documentation review supported by legal experts, and the development of creative financing solutions. The successful candidate will possess a commercial mindset capable of navigating sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional transactions while identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities.

This role offers a highly visible platform, significant client interaction, and potential for accelerated advancement into broader senior marketing, origination, financing, or trading-aligned leadership positions across Macquarie’s international offices.

What you offer

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in client coverage, Metals & Mining finance, tailored structured finance solutions, and complex financing transactions, with a strong focus on the Brazilian market
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, transaction structuring, documentation, negotiation, and execution of complex debt or structured transactions
• Experience developing innovative financing solutions utilizing a broad range of financial instruments
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, with strong knowledge of regulatory and market environments in Brazil
• Degree in a quantitative or finance-related discipline (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Geology, Mining Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields preferred)
• Availability to travel regionally in Brazil and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced global commodities environment
• Previous usage of AI in working environments
