The Equity Derivatives and Trading Operations provides critical trade support services to Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets Group. Join us as a Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) / Collateral Support Associate and be part of a dynamic team driving operational excellence in equity derivatives.

What role will you play?

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing trade support services, including payment support, custodian, broker management, and reconciliation services.

You will liaise with both external and internal clients to address technical queries and collaborate with local and global teams to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Experience in Collateral/SBL management (margin calls, MTM) is must.
  • Liaise with credit, Middle office, trading desk, custody and other internal teams on issues.
  • Experience with booking, verification, and control monitoring of exception trade flows.
  • Sound knowledge in exception and reconciliation management
  • Effective risk management and issue escalation
  • Strong drive to improve operational robustness and achieve overall risk reduction.
    Good to have knowledge of automation tools like Power Automate, Alteryx, Power BI etc.
