Our team sits within site reliability engineering and supports our Banking and Financial Services businesses by improving the reliability, stability and resilience of our technology. We work across the organisation to help teams deliver services our customers can rely on.

What role will you play?

In this role you will act as a senior technical leader, helping to strengthen the resilience of our infrastructure and services. You will work across our site reliability engineering practice and Banking and Financial Services, guiding technical decisions and shaping how we build and operate reliable platforms. You will have the opportunity to influence teams at scale and contribute to the ongoing development of our reliability practice.

What you offer

  • Strong experience in a senior or staff level engineering role, focused on site reliability, platform engineering or a similar area
  • Deep knowledge of designing, building and running large-scale, highly available distributed systems
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers and small teams
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Passion for automation, monitoring and building resilient, self-healing systems.
