What role will you play?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering big data solutions for the Commodities and Global Markets business, working closely with technical teams and technology leaders. You will champion business needs in enterprise-wide initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive innovation and real business change through agile delivery methods.

What you offer

  • 3+ years of experience as a strong technical business analyst background, ideally within banking, financial services, or data environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to map technical needs to business outcomes
  • Experience with big data and understanding of its associated challenges
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying data from diverse sources
  • Ability to articulate and document technical specifications and data requirements for engineering teams
  • Comfortable owning and eliciting requirements, with experience using Confluence and Jira
  • Experience in project management or delivery lead roles, and a track record of driving pieces of work independently
  • Knowledge of data modelling methodologies and experience with data engineering or ETL tools is valuable.
