Join our Technology Business Intelligence team as Team Lead to guide our BI strategy and enhance data-driven decision making across the Technology Division.  The Business Intelligence team are responsible for delivering insights and reporting for Technology that inform decision making and support the execution of the team’s strategic objectives.

What role will you play?

Leveraging your deep technical skills in business intelligence and strong strategic thinking, you will lead a talented team of BI professionals in shaping and implementing the strategy of the function whilst supporting and guiding the BI delivery lifecycle across Technology.  From requirements gathering, to data integration and design, preparation and visualisation, you will lead the team in embedding business intelligence practices across Technology that enhance operational efficiency and support our strategic goals. 

As an excellent communicator and confident influencer working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and data owners, you will play a key role in driving cross functional collaboration and shared learnings, identifying strategic opportunities that leverage data driven insights and shaping innovative data analytics to support and guide decision making across Technology.  


What you offer

  • 5+ years’ of experience in leading a Business Intelligence team, ideally within banking and financial services or consulting firm
  • Experience in Power BI dataflows, queries, DAX, M and SQL, highly proficient in ETL processes
  • Experience in data modelling and developing business intelligence insights with a core focus on end-user consumption and the importance of strong data visualization and design principles
  • A strategic analytical mindset, comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities and with proven multi-tasking skills to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Understanding of end-to-end delivery of data products and applications, including group policies and procedures for data collection and analysis
  • A growth mindset and continuous improvement behaviours through your previous proven experience.
