As a Technology and Regulatory Risk Lawyer in the Banking and Financial Services Legal team, you will work in a dynamic and innovative environment supporting and advising on regulatory interactions, contractual compliance, and effective risk governance across important areas of evolving regulatory, technology, AI, privacy and cyber risk in the Banking and Financial Services Group.

Utilising your attention to detail, demonstrated risk management and regulatory obligation awareness, and strong client partnership and consulting skills, you will support engagement with leading industry technology companies and the effective management of legal, regulatory and contractual risks in close alignment with the technology, data, AI and privacy risk governance portfolios in the Banking and Financial Services Group.

  • Admitted to practice in Australia with at least 5 years’ technology and regulatory risk/ compliance experience either in-house or in private practice with expertise in regulatory compliance, preferably with experience advising on topics including any of technology legal and contractual risk, data and cyber security risk, privacy risk, prudential regulation, and AI regulatory compliance risk.
  • An innovative mindset with adaptability to change
  • Team player with the desire to provide quality client service to a range of internal clients with a diverse portfolio of local and global projects
  • Experience in technology within the financial services industry is valuable however, relevant experience in other industry sectors will be considered.
