What role will you play?

Working closely with senior members and leadership teams of both the Real Estate and Real Estate Client Solutions team globally, you will play a vital role in scaling Macquarie Real Estate’s product suite in APAC, performing a wide range of activities.

In this highly collaborative role, you will be taking ownership of product formation workstreams including preparation for fund launches, working with tax & legal to structure funds, leading the development of investor facing materials and project managing a breadth of stakeholders and processes and capital raising execution. You will work directly with senior members globally to drive fundraising outcomes and contribute to shaping how Macquarie Real Estate's product suite is positioned and grown across the region. In this investor facing role, you will start forming deep relationships with your peers amongst APAC investors during leading due diligence processes and while supporting legal negotiations. In addition, you will be the first point of contact of existing fund investors and support their ongoing requirements.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of broad real estate experience in real estate funds management, capital markets, institutional sales, or investment banking
  • Understanding of unlisted real estate fund structures, capital stacks, and fund governance frameworks
  • Strong grasp of fund economics including waterfall models, fee arrangements, hurdle rates, NAV calculation, and performance attribution
  • Proven ability to lead complex due diligence processes and manage multiple investor workstreams simultaneously with a high degree of independence
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with sophisticated investors
  • Commitment to meeting internal and client deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail in document preparation, reporting and data management.
