We have an exciting opportunity to join our Group Treasury RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) Reporting team. Our team is composed of dedicated members responsible for regulatory reporting obligations and aiding in capital management within a strong risk management framework. What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead a team of 10-15 individuals in delivering critical regulatory and risk-weighted asset (RWA) reporting for the Bank. You will oversee the accurate calculation of RWAs, analyse monthly and quarterly movements to provide business commentary, and ensure data quality issues are resolved. You will manage the preparation of quarterly capital returns submitted to APRA, as well as Pillar 3 disclosures, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders across the Bank for internal ad hoc and regulatory requests, while driving strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in capital reporting processes.

  • Expertise in RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) calculation, reporting and strong stakeholder management
  • Exceptional academic background in financial or quantitative disciplines (e.g., actuarial science, economics, engineering, mathematics, or accounting); CA, CPA, or MBA preferred with 15+ years of experience in financial services
  • Deep understanding of the financial/banking services industry, shared services operating models, and capital platform/reporting
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in system improvements and effective communication
  • Experience in areas such as capital supply, leverage ratio, intercompany reporting, and large exposure reporting would be an added advantage.
