The Collaboration team within Macquarie Asset Management is responsible for developing and maintaining digital tools and platforms that facilitate communication and collaboration among team members across MAM’s global operating locations. We ensure that these tools are secure, user-friendly, and integrated with other business systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
We are seeking and experienced DevOps Atlassian Engineer to join our Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) Technology team.

What role will you play?

As a DevOps Engineer you will be an accomplished, hands-on DevOps practitioner, with a focus on the Atlassian suite of tools, specifically Jira. Working closely with the COG Central Atlassian team you will be responsible for the MAM implementation of Jira and associated workflows. You will become an SME for MAM with respect to our Agile ways of working and support strategic initiatives such as JSM cloud migrations. You will apply best practices to the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the suite.

• At least 4+ years’ experience working in a DevOps or support team supporting large, enterprise level systems, experience configuring, managing, and supporting the Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
•Experience in Java or JavaScript development, Linux, Bash scripting & writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Forge and CI/CD processes and tools is desirable
• Coding knowledge into Golang/Python preferred.
• Highly self-motivated and demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record of improving engineering velocity and reducing software delivery toil.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
