Our Cybersecurity Strategy and Culture team are responsible for driving positive cyber security behaviours across Macquarie Group globally. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Strategy and Culture, you will drive strategic initiatives, foster business engagement, and enhance security culture across Macquarie Group.

What role will you play?

In your role as a Cyber Strategy and Engagement Manager, you will embed our organisation’s cybersecurity strategy, deliver consistent cyber messaging and foster engagement across the business. You will support annual strategy refresh and strategic prioritisation, socialise and embed the cyber strategy, and drive strategy through to execution. You will foster business engagement through tailored services (communications, presentations, and campaigns) and ensure cyber security aligns with organisational objectives. In addition, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify cyber security requirements for new initiatives, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and scalable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging confidently with senior stakeholders, proven stakeholder management and engagement expertise.
  • Ability to gather requirements, build consensus, and execute plans collaboratively.
  • High achievement drive and self-starter attitude.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Business acumen with the ability to align cyber initiatives to business objectives.
  • Ability to translate technical/cyber concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Prior experience in cybersecurity, technology or technology risk is highly regarded.
