Join our high-performing team of Supervisory Analysts and Editors in our Global Editorial team, where you’ll add value to our award-winning Research product line-up. You will uphold and raise our research standards, showcase our analysts’ abilities worldwide, as well as provide a frontline of defense for Macquarie Research, working in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with the working hours Monday through Thursday being 9am-6pm ET and Friday hours of 8am-5pm ET.

What role will you play?

Reporting to the Head of Editorial and Supervisory Analysts, you will play an essential role in ensuring compliance with applicable FINRA and securities regulators’ rules and regulations as well as firm policies and procedures, reviewing research reports to assess the accuracy, consistency, sources of data and calculations, as well as ensuring a reasonable basis exists for an analyst’s valuation and conclusions. You will actively contribute to refining our research content by reviewing for quality, clarity, consistency, style, and grammar, working with analysts to help structure content to ensure balance, timeliness, proper taste/tone, and commerciality. In addition, you will also liaise and work closely with other internal stakeholders such as regional research management, Compliance and Control Room.

Salary range for this position: $118,000 - $195,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.   • A tertiary qualification in economics, finance, journalism or similar discipline
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience as a Supervisory Analyst in equity research with demonstrated rewriting capabilities
  • Active Series 16 license is essential; experience using Blue Matrix would be beneficial
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills in English and the ability to communicate ideas succinctly with a track record of working collaboratively across internal teams
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated team player with proven ability to work in fast-paced and time-critical situations while maintaining a high degree of risk awareness
