- Demonstrable experience in financial crime risk management roles within asset management, ideally covering both public and private markets and a range of asset classes
- A strong ability to operate at a senior level, influencing and partnering with stakeholders across investment teams, risk functions, legal teams, and external advisers
- Sound knowledge of financial crime risk themes and regulatory priorities impacting asset management in the Asia-Pacific region, with the ability to apply good risk management practices pragmatically
- Experience guiding due diligence and ongoing risk assessments for clients, investments, counterparties, and third-party service providers, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
- An interest in, or experience with, using technology and data-driven solutions to enhance risk management practices within the asset management sector.
