Join our People and Culture Operations team in this exciting opportunity and work collaboratively with various teams and departments to ensure resolution of inquiries or requests from Macquarie employees.

What role will you play?

Working closely with the People Experience and Business teams, you will support a wide range of activities and projects. You will act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns through e-mail, phone or chat, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions aligned with defined SLAs while delivering empathetic, high‑quality customer support.

Additionally, you will handle policy‑related queries such as eligibility for further studies support, alternative work arrangements, and other HR guidelines. You will perform various ad hoc tasks, including preparing employee data, supporting report analysis, and completing other items assigned by the HR Business Partner. You will also assist the ANZ team with staff appraisals, career development processes, promotion cycles, and Learning and Development initiatives.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within financial services, insurance or audit environments
  • Strong collaborative mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with solid critical thinking, problem‑solving and customer service capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while proactively escalating issues clearly and effectively when needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Strong ability to interpret complex verbal and written information to identify potential conflicts of interest and areas of regulatory or compliance risk
  • Experience working with HR systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft HR, ServiceNow (case management) and PEGA (starter, transfer, and leaver processes) is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
