Join Macquarie’s Governance, Remuneration & Accountability team in the Aggregate Risk and Prudential Division of the Risk Management Group and play a key role in overseeing Macquarie’s compliance with relevant prudential regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?

The role plays an integral part in overseeing, reviewing and challenging Macquarie’s frameworks for regulatory compliance with Governance, Remuneration and Accountability requirements, including in relation to the Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Management Strategy and Financial Accountability Regime.

As a Senior Analyst / Manager in this global team, you will work with senior stakeholders to advise on a variety of matters and prepare relevant updates and recommendations to the Board and Senior Management. Your work will involve working alongside stakeholders across various functions, which will provide an opportunity to build networks across the Risk Management Group and Macquarie’s other Operating and Central Services Groups. 

What you offer

  • Experience in risk management, legal, banking or financial services, with an understanding of the banking and financial services regulatory environment. Previous experience in Risk Governance is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrable experience in managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to consider the bigger picture.
  • Ability to analyse, evaluate information and draw key insights.
