What role will you play?

In this role you will provide hands-on support for Java-based applications used in credit risk. You will monitor system health, manage incidents, and work closely with users and technology teams to resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment. You will focus on user-facing applications, applying a strong customer service mindset while contributing to automation and continuous improvement within a global DevOps team.

What you offer

  • 3–4 years' experience working as an application support engineer
  • Experience providing application support for Java or J2EE based systems, with exposure to Java backend and JavaScript frontend technologies
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS), with an understanding of monitoring and supporting cloud-based applications.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase, with the ability to debug issues using Java
  • Knowledge of IT service management and agile tools and processes, with experience in incident and change management systems such as JIRA or Confluence
  • Strong customer service mindset, with an ability to support user-facing applications and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a DevOps and engineering environment.
