What role will you play?

Working closely with other members of the quant research team, you will be responsible for researching and developing the systematic investment strategies which underpin our products. You will be responsible for generating new research ideas, testing, and implementing those research ideas using Python as well as monitoring the performance of our existing systematic models. In addition to research, you’ll also be maintaining and enhancing existing quantitative systems and processes, preparing responses to client and consultant requests, and continually seeking ways to add value to the overall investment process.

What you offer

  • 5 + years experience in a directly relevant quantitative analyst or trading role
  • Strong academic results with a tertiary degree in maths, actuarial, engineering, science, IT or finance
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Unix, MATLAB, R, or similar
  • A passion for and willingness to apply your skills to financial markets and a great interest in dealing with large datasets and finding exploitable patterns within them
  • Excellent communication skills, you take a proactive and independent approach to your work.
