What role will you play?

In this role, you will work to validate security controls against Macquarie cyber security standards and industry cybersecurity frameworks with the aim to uplift our security capability and improve security posture of the organisation. You will document and report security assessment results and review Macquarie’s security capabilities and provide recommendations. You will work with various stakeholders to provide security advisory and assist in understanding the severity of the security risks and the remediation activities that could follow.

What you offer

• 5+ years’ experience in Cyber Security consulting or IT auditing roles
• Familiarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
• Strong understanding of security best practices, and secure application development
• Experience working with public cloud, containers, Kubernetes and related technologies is advantageous
• Experience in engineering, designing security solutions, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, vulnerability management, and application development is advantageous.
