Join our Strategic Initiatives team in Commodities and Global Markets Group focusing on managing the design, implementation and embeddedness of strategic business and operational uplift, regulatory and remediation initiatives that support client and business objectives

What role will you play?

You will work with business teams, operational risk managers, data analysts and technologists to transform processes, practices and systems to improve the management of risk. You will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities through the project lifecycle, covering elicitation and documentation of business requirements, collaborating with a delivery team of business and stakeholder team subject matter experts, technologists and data analysts to design and implement solutions whilst working across system dependencies. Working with an international team, you will play a key role in documenting operational design and processes and leveraging technology to automate and digitise processes and solutions. 

What you offer

  • 3+ years’ experience within financial services, preferably with knowledge of operational risk, in a business analyst, data analyst, assurance or operations role
  • Experience in leading the documentation of detailed and accurate business requirements, updating requirements traceability and module dependencies/sequencing, owning business acceptance test cases, managing and analysing testing issues and identifying options and recommendations
  • Ability to interpret prudential standards, document assumptions, identify and investigate unexpected behaviours/patterns through data analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in delivery co-ordination across business stakeholders and technical peers across offices and time zones
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and draw on collaboration and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Experience with assurance and/ or designing and assessing controls.
