Our Macquarie Group team has an exciting Head of Design Systems opportunity. In this role, you will work with all of our business groups and the engineering team in envisioning, designing, and implementing ways to improve and enhanceworkflow and processes to build the best digital products.

As the Head of Design Systems, you’ll be a key leader for advocating design systems into our organisation to drive adoption and measured growth, and establish the strategy, design system best practices, accessibility standards, build of UI components and interaction patterns as well as owning the documentation and overall design language. 

You will work on the design and development of products and services, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across all platforms and touch points. In addition, focusing on workflow orchestration, automation flow, and executive dashboard needs of the business.

• A strong track record in UX/UI design, evidenced by a comprehensive portfolio that showcases a range of projects and solutions
• Experience in leading design product teams and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives
• Ability to Co-Create the strategy and vision to move our Design system to the next level by partnering with Experience Design, Product Management, and Engineering leadership to plan and coordinate work across the Design Systems team
• Exceptional ability to articulate design decisions and advocate for user-centred design principles to diverse audiences
• Experience with a multi-brand Design System with the ability to think strategically and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
