What role will you play?

In your role as a Senior Lead, you will oversee the technology infrastructure and systems that support market data operations within Macquarie and develop and implement a strategic vision and delivery roadmap for market data technology.

You will ensure the business objectives align with industry best practices, identify opportunities for innovation, and drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance market data capabilities. You will stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure systems and processes adhere to relevant standards which include market data usage policies.

You will collaborate with cross functional teams to design and maintain the architecture and governance framework of market data systems and manage relationships with market data vendors and services providers. You will identify and mitigate technology related risks associated with market data operations and define technical requirements and specifications for new systems or upgrades. In addition, ensure stress testing for robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place to guarantee uninterrupted access to critical market data systems.

What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, advanced degree is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of market data systems which include data feeds, market data platforms, and trading systems
  • Proficient in market data system architecture design and implementation, database technologies, and cloud computing
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to market data, such as MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, or other relevant regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders which include C suite stakeholders
  • Ability to drive strategic initiatives, innovate, and adapt to evolving market data technology trends.
