The Resilience team are a global team who work as trusted partners within a dynamic and entrepreneurial business and are responsible for the implementation of the group business resilience framework to ensure Macquarie can anticipate, withstand, respond, and recover from business disruptions. We ensure the organisation is resilient through crisis leadership, effective planning, testing, and exercising and partnering with the business and suppliers to sustain operations during times of disruption.

What role will you play?

In this delivery role, you will focus on coordination of business and operational resilience requirements in the Australian and New Zealand region, with the objective of enhancing resilience capability and helping foster a resilient culture across the region. You will utilize your experience and strong stakeholder engagement expertise to support the Business Resilience Program, ensuring its effective delivery within our businesses. In this critical role, you will manage resilience risks, including driving plan reviews and recovery strategy testing to ensure alignment with the Business Resilience Policy and Standards.

What you offer

  • Experience in one or more of business continuity/resilience, operational risk, technology recovery or risk management field, ideally gained within financial services
  • Understanding of Business Continuity/Operational Resilience regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience utilising complex data from diverse sources to tell compelling, accessible, and accurate stories
  • Confident presenting, reviewing and constructively challenging resilience capability
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement of the Resilience Framework and methodology.
