Our Financial Operations team’s purpose is to serve as a trusted partner to the business, crafting capital and funding strategies and working directly with the Chief Financial Officer to drive financial success.

This is a fixed term contract.

What role will you play?

In this role you will work with a wide range of stakeholders across Macquarie Capital, Group Treasury, Finance and Risk Management. These include, overseeing analysis, forecasting, reporting and on-going monitoring of capital and funding across the global Macquarie Capital business. Additionally, you’ll manage capital and funding ad hoc requests and prepare presentations on projections and analysis for senior stakeholders.

What you offer

  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, banking, or accounting
  • Experience with asset and portfolio management including transaction set-up, funding and ongoing monitoring
  • Experience working with global teams and managing direct reports
  • Understanding of and prior exposure to accounting, capital and funding matters
  • The ability to independently analyse complex processes/ issues, identify risks and present clear solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Detailed knowledge of control processes.
