Our global Non-Financial Risk division provides an independent voice of risk through review and challenge, guidance on risk and control best practise and empower the divisions within the Financial Management Group to manage risk within appetite.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in our risk and control uplift projects and programs, engaging with stakeholders across the Financial Management Group, Risk Management Group and Commodities and Global Markets division to ensure correct interpretation of relevant group, divisional policies, and correct application of these policies to business-as-usual activities both locally and globally.


You will ensure that our control environment is effective and that relevant processes performed within Finance and its controls associated with specific risks across end-to-end trading lifecycles are designed and operating effectively. This will include recommending changes to existing controls, supporting the documentation of new controls with the Finance control owners, and performing assurance to assess control design or program delivered risk. You will be involved in several multi-year projects and expected to provide independent risk challenge at each of the design, implement and embed phases in areas such as Product Control.

What you offer

• 10+ years of experience in Financial Services as an operational risk management or risk assurance expert, specialising across financial accounting, product control or regulatory reporting
• Experience working on large scale risk remediation projects and with external reviewers and regulators.
• Experience working across projects and/or change management in complex multi-faceted programs
• Thorough understanding of the day-to-day activities within a Finance function in Financial Services
• Practical understanding of the implementation of risk and control frameworks to manage enterprise risks in highly regulated legal entities and across group structures
• CA/CPA qualification highly desirable
