Join Macquarie’s newly created Private Equity team that is being developed to capitalize on Macquarie’s leading position as a global infrastructure investor. The firm is continuing its historic strategy of targeting adjacent growth and believes that private equity is a compelling and sizable long-term growth vector. The investment team is being built in advance of an expected fundraise and there is an opportunity to join as a founding team member. The private equity strategy will focus on upper middle market primarily buyout opportunities ($100-$500m targeted equity check) and invest in private equity opportunities that benefit from Macquarie’s experience across key end markets that include: digital/data centers, transport and logistics, waste and environmental, energy, etc. The fund is expected to invest in business services, industrial products and emerging technologies that service these sectors.

What role will you play?

You will be a critical member of the team supporting business plan development and overall due diligence workstreams including overseeing advisors and driving transaction workplan. You will drive financial model outcomes and results, leveraging stakeholders across tax, legal, and debt for input and overseeing external financial advisors when relevant.

Salary range for this position: $155,000 - $175,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

• 2+ years of experience working at a leading investment or consulting firm
• Strong financial modeling skills and ability to understand the drivers of a business
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in both PowerPoint and Word
