We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer to join a dynamic, collaborative, and talented team. You will work with our business stakeholders and learn about private markets as we deliver technology solutions for our global asset management business.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will deliver data-driven software solutions that empower our business, while also growing your skills and professional network. You will work with a diverse array of technologies on our cloud-based infrastructure and learn to configure and code using leading software in the private markets industry. 

You will focus on creating data products and data pipelines within our data platform to enhance reporting and analytics. You'll work closely with the product owner and stakeholders to understand their needs and propose effective solutions.

What you offer

• Experience in financial services, particularly in private markets, with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and EBS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Linux, shell scripting, load balancing, and basic networking. Proficiency with containerisation platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk and Grafana.
• Exposure to tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket, as well as other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and an understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proven development skills in Python or other similar programming languages.
• Experience with data pipelines, data engineering, and data modelling, as well as other technologies and tools such as DBT, Spark, and Airflow.
