Join our Equities Sales Trading team in Tokyo, working alongside our regional research analysts, equity sales and sales traders to deliver best in class investment services leveraging our global platform and reach.

What role will you play?

As a member of our established team, you will be involved in using various trading tools and platforms to continue to offer our institutional clients new ways to execute through Macquarie globally. Working across regional teams in Asia, you will drive the execution sales process, strengthen existing client relationships and continue to expand our market reach in the region.

What you offer

• Excellent academic qualifications, ideally in a finance, economics or quantitative discipline
• 5+ years’ sales trading experience in the Japan equities market with existing institutional client relationships and a proven track record 
• Ability to communicate ideas succinctly with fluency in English. Japanese language skills will be highly regarded due to the clients under coverage but not essential
• Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail, the ability to make quick judgements and thrive in a collaborative team culture with a strong sense of ownership
• Detailed knowledge of risk management, technical and operation procedures in a global institutional equity trading environment.
