Join our Data and Digital product team within the Risk Management Group where you will work with data, reporting, automation, and Gen AI tools to support ongoing technology transformation across risk management.

What role will you play?

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work across a range of technologies and platforms including PowerBI, Power Automate, AWS and OpenAI /ChatGPT. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document both technical and non-technical requirements.  In addition, you will also be providing user support and guidance, enabling adoption of new tools to drive better risk management outcomes.


What you offer

  • 3-5+ years’ experience as a functional or technical business analyst, working with product teams
  • Experience with developing detailed requirements and documentation including user stories, process maps, data flows and test scripts
  • Experience with coding (R, SQL or Java) or workflow optimisation tools such as Unqork is ideal.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
