What role will you play?

In your role as a Security Architect, you will work with technology and business teams to help drive the secure evolution of our organisation. You will work with various stakeholders to provide security advisory and assist them in understanding the severity of the security risks and remediation activities. You will validate security controls against Macquarie’s cyber security standards and industry cybersecurity framework, document and report security assessment results, and review Macquarie’s security capabilities, provide recommendations, and uplift our security capability and improve security posture of the organisation.

What you offer

• 4+ years’ experience in Cyber Security consulting or IT auditing roles
• Familiarity and experience in formal security architecture aspects, including logical and physical security architecture/design
• Strong understanding of security best practices, and secure application development
• Experience working with public cloud, containers, Kubernetes
• Experience in engineering, designing security solutions, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, vulnerability management, and application development
• Familiarity and exposure to regulatory requirements, the evolving threat landscape, and industry standard frameworks including but not limited to: NIST, COBIT, and ISO.
