Join our Commodities and Global Markets team as a Commodity Logistics & Deal Management Analyst.

Our Commodity Markets and Finance Division provides a full spectrum offering to clients with exposure to commodities. CMF provides risk management, financing, physical execution and logistics across the full spectrum of commodities and in all regions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work within the oil and agricultural commodity space assisting in the management of the Supply & Offtake Agreement (SOA) refinery deals as well as supporting physical oil and agricultural transactions throughout the Americas. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and groups on data and management reporting initiatives, insurance & compliance reporting tasks as well as funding management.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for effectively managing logistics and scheduling tasks within the deal portfolio including SOA settlement modeling, inventory management and reconciliation, pricing coordination, and have deliverables for other internal stakeholder departments. You will build a robust knowledge of deal types within our platform (RightAngle), as well as with its interaction with Macquarie systems and processes. You will collaborate internally with our commodity trading desks, as well as other support areas in tax, market operations and legal.

What you offer

• 2-5 years of experience in commodity finance/accounting
• Understanding of legal documents and commodity contracts
• Advanced capabilities in Excel
• Experience in RightAngle would be a plus
• Detail oriented with very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
• Possess a sense of urgency and accountability, ability to respond to tight deadline requirements.
• Encourages a culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative workflow.
• A desire to learn and have exposure to ancillary operational areas such as profit and loss reporting, position management, funding, compliance reporting, tax and insurance. Previous exposure to these areas a plus.
