What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues across the globe to work with a variety of modern technologies, all built on our cloud-based infrastructure. You will have the satisfaction of seeing the software development process through from start to finish and witnessing the impact of your work on our business.
You will contribute to our engineering team by using CI/CD, BDD, code quality, secure coding, and monitoring practices. You will build data and control pipelines across a variety of technologies using event-driven messaging and APIs. You will be empowered to research, evaluate, and present recommendations for innovative technologies and frameworks.

What you offer
  • Experience in building cloud-native (AWS, GCP, Azure) data pipelines, integrations, or microservices, preferably with Python.
  • Understanding of Design Patterns, Testing methodologies, and the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Comprehension of security, including authentication and authorisation.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Shell Scripting, load balancing, and basic networking.
  • Proficiency in building solutions considering user experience, automation, security, performance, resilience, cost, scale, and reusability.
  • Flexibility to work with stakeholders and colleagues in Australia and the US, as required.
It would be additionally helpful if you have any of the following skills or experience:
  • Anaplan or any financial planning products, Aiviq
  • Administering vendor supplied applications
  • Airflow, containers / Kubernetes, GitOps / ArgoCD and Vault.
  • Data Lake, Data Warehouse.
  • RDS, including SQL and PL/SQL
