What role will you play?

You will work closely with a team of business and technology experts and collaborate with a strong peer network of technologists across our programme. You will work within an agile squad to ingest data, implement critical Liquidity calculations, create data visualisations, and provide data to downstream systems – all within a state-of-the-art data platform. There will be a strong emphasis on providing a high performing, robust and stable platform that meets business outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. You will have end-to-end accountability for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting your data assets.

What you offer

• Experience with Big Data with a focus on Spark, Python, Hive, SQL, Presto (or other query engines), big data storage formats (e.g. Parquet) and orchestration (e.g. Apache airflow)
• Experience developing configuration-based ETL pipelines and user-interface driven tools to optimise the creation of data processes and calculations (e.g. Dataiku)
• Experience in solution design, including designs of data models, data pipelines and calculations, as well as presenting solution options and recommendations
  
• Experience creating data visualisations using tools such as Power BI, including the supporting data models
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment (ideally AWS) and familiarity with cloud computing concepts (EC2, S3), Linux and containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Experience in Solution delivery within the finance or treasury business domains, in particular Liquidity or Capital is advantageous.
