This role is responsible for leading Macquarie Asset Management’s sustainability standards and reporting strategy across all asset classes globally.

What role will you play?

The volume, complexity, and risks associated with sustainability reporting to a variety of stakeholder groups – including regulators and investors – continues to grow. The individual will be required to drive our reporting strategy through continuous scanning of the external reporting landscape and engagement with external industry bodies and groups, whilst simultaneously critically assessing its existing reporting requirements for improvement and automation. The role will require strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, alongside interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Significant external and internal stakeholder management skills, coupled with strong project management across the firm and its departments to deliver effective reporting in a timely fashion is critical. 

What you offer

  • 10+ years of sustainability reporting experience with leading investment or consulting firm
  • Deep expertise of sustainability and sustainable investing
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks including TCFD, ISSB, CSRD, SFDR, PRI
  • Prior experience leading the implementation of sustainability reporting initiatives
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different departments
  • Solid knowledge of the global sustainable finance regulatory landscape
  • Quantitative and data management skills
