At Macquarie, we are working to create lasting value for our communities, our clients and our people. We are a global financial services group operating in 34 markets and with 55 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drive outcomes.

What role will you play?
As an intern with the Financial Management Group, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your accounting skills and build your career as you work to provide financial, tax and treasury services to all areas of Macquarie.

Feel empowered to shape what’s possible for your career through a direct placement based on your interests and our business need in one of the following areas:

Finance (Jacksonville) provides financial management and control, regulatory reporting, tax, and business advisory services. Finance also has dedicated teams supporting Macquarie’s operating groups.

Group Treasury (Jacksonville) is responsible for capital and funding, liquidity and interest rate risk management of Macquarie’s balance sheet. The team also manages Macquarie’s liquid asset portfolio and is responsible for managing debt investor, rating agency and banking relationships.

Group Treasury (Houston) enables key risk management decisions including funding, liquidity and capital allocations for our Commodities and Global Markets business. The team collaborates with stakeholders to critically assess commercial, balance sheet and regulatory risks on new business proposals.

Independent Valuations Testing (Houston) is a specialized team within Finance that mitigates the valuation risk on the bank's balance sheet by providing independent validation of the appropriateness of the marks being used to value trading portfolios. The control is critical to provide assurance to management of the integrity of the underlying P&L and to carry the value in the balance sheet.

Product Control (Houston) is a specialized team within Finance that independently validates the integrity, accuracy, completeness and valuation of all trading positions and relates to finance data in the book and records of the firm. The team enables the businesses to confidently operate in these markets by designing and operating effective controls that ensure trading P&L in high volume and complex products are monitored, can be explained, and are in line with the strategy. The team also enables timely management intervention as required.
