Commodities and Global Markets Technology closely partners with our dynamic commodities and market finance business. Within Commodities and Global Markets tech you will have the opportunity to work in either the Application Developer or Solution Architecture and Engineering teams.
- Application Development designs, develops, and implements service-oriented applications. You’ll work to support our teams who are modernizing our existing software stack using the latest technologies and cloud capabilities that will enable our businesses to expand and grow into new markets.
- Solution Architecture and Engineering designs and deploys critical infrastructure used to support the technological evolution of the organization. You will help to deliver cutting-edge cloud platforms including containers and serverless, in support of our global businesses and the demand for cloud-native applications and technologies.
Cyber Threat Incident Response (CTIR) is responsible for identifying, triaging, and mitigating threats and risks in our global cyber environment. The team also act to ensure that Macquarie’s digital estate is protected from threats both known and unknown.
As an intern in CTIR, you will focus the research and development on one of our many ongoing security projects. You will continuously identify, assess, and manage threats relative to the corporate risk appetite by leveraging technology and your education to analyze data. A basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and an investigative mindset will be fundamental to your success in this internship.

- Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture.
- Present a project you worked on during the program to senior management.
